Here you can find definitions of the terms we use to explain our service and communicate to you.

AI Rewrite Options: A list of pre-defined or user-generated templates that guide how Oasis processes and formats the input content.

AI Suggestions: Recommendations or alternatives provided by the Oasis AI to improve the content.

Apple App Store: A digital distribution platform for iOS apps, where the Oasis app can be downloaded for Apple devices.

Copy: To reproduce the exact content for use in a different location or application.

Custom Template: A user-defined format in Oasis, tailored to specific needs.

Delete: The option to permanently remove specific items or the entire history from Oasis.

Download: To retrieve and save content to a local device or storage.

Edit Outputs: The ability to make direct modifications to the AI-produced output to better align with a user's preferences.

Edit Transcript: A feature allowing users to make modifications to the original transcript, especially for refining style and tone.

Exporting: Saving content in a specific format to be used outside the platform.

Favorites: A feature allowing users to mark and save specific transcripts or rewrites for easy access in the future.

File Formats: Specific types of digital files that Oasis supports for uploading voice memos, including mp3, m4a, webm, wav, aac, and aiff.

Fine-Tune with Additional AI Rewrites: Enhancing the initial output by running it through further AI rewriting options or by applying a custom template.

Format: A specific style or structure for written content.

History: A log containing all of a user's interactions with Oasis, including recordings, uploads, transcripts, and AI rewrites.

Resubmit for a New Version: An option to have Oasis re-process the content to produce a different version based on user feedback or preference.

Review: Examining the content to assess its quality and accuracy.

Sharing & Exporting: Tools and options to distribute the content produced or modified in Oasis, either by downloading, use the mobile app or copying.

Sharing: Distributing content with others, either within or outside the platform.

Text Input: A feature in Oasis that allows users to manually type or paste text into the platform.

Transcribe: The process of converting spoken words into written text.

Transcript of Input: The written version of spoken content that has been transcribed by Oasis.

Transcript: A written or printed version of spoken content.

Translation: The process of turning text or speech as an input from one language into an output in another language

Upload Icon: A symbol in the Oasis interface used to indicate you can add audio files to the platform.

Voice Memos: Audio recordings that users can upload into Oasis for transcription or refinement.

Web App: A version of Oasis accessible through internet browsers on desktops and mobile devices.

Writing Icon: A tool in the Oasis interface used to initiate manual text input.
